Mexican Altura - grown on small plantations high in the mountains in Mexico -- in fact, "altura" is Spanish for altitude. At higher elevations, where the weather is cooler, beans mature more slowly and develop a finer flavor. Noted for its overall balance, our Mexican Altura is a lightly-roasted, fragrant breakfast coffee with medium body and low acidity (certified fair trade organic).  Specialty brew and sold in 12 ounce bags.

Sumatra Mandheling - naturally processed Indonesian coffee grows in Sumatra, and takes its Mandehling name from an ethnic group rather than a location. The most full-bodied of all coffees, Sumatra Mandheling delivers heavy, syrupy body and very little acidity. Lose yourself in its creamy, or "winey" smooth taste and deep aroma. Caribbean Hazelnut - medium roasted blend of mild coffee with the rich nutty taste of gourmet hazelnut to produce a special treat.  Brewed Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and available in 12 ounce bags.

Jamacian Me Crazy - the rich new flavor is a bit of paradise in your cup.  A swirl of vanilla and caramel with a touch of Kahlua.  Brewed Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, and available in 12 ounce bags.

Decaffeinated Beans:

Vienna Roast Decaf - an expert blend of Central and South American coffees which are naturally decaffeinated and blended after roasting for the perfect balance of light and dark roasts. The overall effect is one of medium body with a hint of dark roast flavor, great for breakfast or throughout the day. And, it's guaranteed to be 97 percent caffeine free! Cappuccine - Estate coffees from Tanzania, Costa Rica, Sumatra and Colombia make for a perfect balance of body, acidity, and rich in flavor.  The choice for smooth, sweet espresso or dark rich brew (certified fair trade organic).  We make all of our specialty espresso drinks with these beans, unless you specify you'd like it with out the jolt of caffeine.

Latte Blend Decaf - Indonesian & Central American beans creates a heavy body with intense smoky flavor (certified fair trade organic).  We make all of our specialty decaf espresso drinks with these beans.

What does fair trade organic mean?

Fair trade advocates the payment of a fair prices as well as social and environmental standards in areas related to the production of this coffee.  Farming families of these coffees receive fair prices for their harvest, which provides them with reasonable wages, better healthcare facilities, schools for their children, training in organic farming techniques, and financial support.  These coffees are fair trade certified by the TransFair USA, and independent non-profit organization that monitors and certifies fair trade products in the United States. 

Labeling these coffees as organic means they are grown without the use of conventional pesticides and artificial fertilizers, free from contamination by human or industrial waste, and processed without ionizing radiation or food additives.
